gMaria-sama Ga
Miteruh, also referred to as gMaria-sama h,
is a human drama that describes lovely daily
life of the girls who attend Lillian Girls High
School. The original story was released in the
Cobalt Nobel Series (Shueisha) which is one
of the most popular novel series for teenage
girls. Since the first issue in 1998, the gMaria-samah
serial novel has published 21 volumes (as of
July 2005) and has sold over 2,700,000 copies.
The Japanese broadcast started in January 2004,
and the gMaria-samah movement is now growing
in a big wave across Japan. The series has not
only fascinated teenage girls but women in their
20fs to 30fs.
