Ryo Hayakawa dreams to be a baseball player. When she grows to be a high school student of Kisaragi Academy, she joins a girl's baseball team.

The story centers on Ryo and her teammates, a group of strongly indivisual girls drawn from across the country. They evolve from separate indivisuals into one united team, overcoming various hardships to challenge for the right to appear in the Koshien championship tournament.
